Glider Flight | Varesine Prealps
The package is not refundable if cancelled 15 days before the scheduled date
Anyone can experience the thrill of gliding, as long as they are at least 16 years old and weigh less than 105 kg.
We organize promotional flights on the club's two-seater gliders, where the passenger will be accompanied by experienced pilots or an instructor.
In the two-seater glider the passenger sits behind the pilot and can also enjoy the splendid aerial view of the Varese valleys through the completely transparent canopy.
It is possible to fly at different altitudes depending on the height at which the glider is released from the towing plane and the actual flight begins. A promotional flight with towing at an altitude of 1000 meters lasts about half an hour, while one at 750 meters lasts about 20 minutes.
Flight activity is subject to weather conditions and the availability of equipment and pilots: flights are not carried out when it rains or when there is wind, fog or low clouds. Cloudy days with clouds at a sufficient height can however be suggestive and not be negatively affected by sports flights.
We cannot guarantee that your flight will take place on the day booked for safety reasons.
Promotional flights are operated from Wednesday to Sunday. On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, flights are normally operated in the morning, in low season (September-February) it is also possible between 13.00 and 15.00, while on Saturdays and Sundays preferably by 10.30 or in the late afternoon.
People with mobility difficulties can also fly as long as the disability does not interfere with the controls.
It is recommended to bring a pair of sunglasses and a hat to protect yourself from the bright sun.
